Άρχισα να μαζεύω παραλειπόμενα και παράδοξα της λογοτεχνικής οικογένειας από τα φοιτητικά μου χρόνια στην Αγγλία, πατρίδα της ειρωνείας, του σαρκασμού και ενός ιοβόλου χιούμορ που εξακοντίζεται ευθύβολο, αλλά με μεγάλη χάρη και κομψότητα, ιδίως μεταξύ ομοτέχνων. Ύστερα από τρία βιβλία γύρω από το ευρύτερο αντικείμενο της διοίκησης των οργανισμών και την πώληση, σίγουρα θα διερωτάσθε τι σχέση έχω με το θέμα του γάμου. Μα και ο γάμος δεν είναι παρά ένας ζωντανός οργανισμός, ο οποίος χρειάζεται προσαρμοστικότητα, ευελιξία, κανόνες, στόχο, ηγεσία, μάνατζμεντ, ρευστότητα, καθηκοντολόγιο κλπ. Δεν παρέχονται στο βιβλίο συνταγές για το πώς θα καταστεί ένας γάμος πετυχημένος. Το βιβλίο αυτό είναι ένα σύνολο μαθημάτων, που πήρα από το γάμο και τα περιέγραψα εγώ ή και κάποιοι άλλοι με σύντομες ρήσεις. Φιλοδοξώ να γίνει ένα εργαλείο εκτόνωση...
