Μέσα από έργα και αρχειακό υλικό του μεγάλου ζωγράφου Νίκου Χατζηκυριάκου-Γκίκα, αναδύεται η ιδιαίτερη σχέση που τον συνέδεε με το προγονικό του νησί, την Ύδρα.

Ο εκπαιδευτικός φάκελος "Έθιμα του Πάσχα" δημιουργήθηκε για να σας επισημάνει ελληνικά πασχαλινά έθιμα, πολλά από τα οποία επιβιώνουν. Έχετε τη δυνατότητα να επεξεργαστείτε το υλικό με τους τρόπους που εσείς θεωρείτε καλύτερους, να προσθέσετε έθιμα της περιοχής σας, να εφαρμόσετε δραστηριότητες που ταιριάζουν σε σας και την ομάδα σας. Το εκπαιδευτικό αυτό υλικό τυπώθηκε για το Πρόγραμμα "Μελίνα - Εκπαίδευση και Πολιτισμός" και εφαρμόστηκε στα σχολεία της πειραματικής εφαρμογής.

Με την έντονα φορτισμένη, αλλά όχι απολύτως κυριολεκτική, ονομασία "Αρχείο Αγώνος" απόκειται στο Τμήμα των Ιστορικών Αρχείων του Μουσείου Μπενάκη ένα πολύτιμο σύνολο από πεντέμισι περίπου χιλιάδες έγγραφα, τα οποία αγοράστηκαν το 1938 από τον Αντώνη Μπενάκη. Η Μαρία Δημητριάδου, επιμελήτρια αυτού του τόμου, στην εισαγωγή της αποτυπώνει την ιδιαίτερη φύση αυτού του υλικού, ιχνηλατεί με τον αρμόζοντα τρόπο τη διαδρομή του, καταγράφει τα προβλήματα -τους τρόπους συγκρότησής του σε αρχειακή μονάδα-, αποτυπώνει τα ερωτήματα και σκιαγραφεί τις ενότητές του, προσανατολίζοντας τον...
