Στο βιβλίο αυτό θελήσαμε να παρουσιάσουμε ένα αντιπροσωπευτικό μέρος της γραφιστικής δουλειάς μας, που έγινε στις δεκατίες του '60 και του '70. Πολλοί φίλοι, που εκτιμούσαν και εκτιμούν ακόμη, τις προσπάθειες μας εκείνης της περιόδου, μας προέτρεπαν συνεχώς και συνέβαλαν στο να ξεπεράσουμε εντέλει τους αρχικούς ενδοιασμούς μας. Το εκπαιδευτικό αυτό έντυπο εκδόθηκε από το Τμήμα Εκπαιδευτικών Προγραμμάτων του Μουσείου Μπενάκη στα πλαίσια της έκθεσης "David Hovkney: Λέξεις και εικόνες. Χαρακτικά από τη Συλλογή του British Council", που διοργανώθηκε από το Μουσείο Μπενάκη και το British Council, από τις 29 Ιουνίου έως τις 15 Σεπτεμβρίου 2005.

O κατάλογος αυτός εκδόθηκε στο πλαίσιο της έκθεσης "David Hockney. Λέξεις και εικόνες. Χαρακτικά από τη συλλογή του British Council", η οποία οργανώθηκε από το Μουσείο Μπενάκη και το British Council, στο Μουσείο Μπενάκη από τις 29 Ιουνίου - 15 Σεπτεμβρίου 2005.

Η έκδοση συνοδεύει την αναδρομική έκθεση του εικαστικού καλλιτέχνη Χρήστου Τζίβελου (1949-1995) στο Μουσείο Μπενάκη. Παρουσιάζει εν συνόλω το γλυπτικό έργο του Τζίβελου από τη δεκαετία του ’70 μέχρι και τα μέσα της δεκαετίας του ’90, μαζί με αρχειακό υλικό, άγνωστα σχέδια και φωτογραφικά ντοκουμέντα από εγκαταστάσεις που είχε πραγματοποιήσει στην Ελλάδα, στην Ιταλία, στη Γαλλία, στην Αυστραλία, και στις ΗΠΑ.

Πρόκειται για τον κατάλογο της έκθεσης του Τάσου Χριστάκη που πραγματοποιήθηκε στις 4-24 Φεβρουαρίου στο Μουσείο Μπενάκη.

Η έκδοση κυκλοφόρησε με την ευκαιρία της έκθεσης "Κεραμική από την Κίνα, που πραγματοποιήθηκε στο Μουσείο Μπενάκη, από τον Ιούνιο έως τον Σεπτέμβριο του 2016. Ο τόμος, με πλούσια εικονογράφηση, παρουσιάζει στο ελληνικό και στο διεθνές κοινό μία επιλογή αριστουργημάτων κινεζικής κεραμικής, που προέρχονται από τη συλλογή του Γεωργίου Ευμορφόπουλου, εξέχουσα μορφή στην ανάδειξη της Ασιατικής τέχνης, η οποία συγκροτήθηκε στις αρχές του εικοστού αιώνα και δωρήθηκε στο Μουσείο Μπενάκη τη δεκαετία του 1930.
