Το ντοκιμαντέρ που αναφέρεται στο φαινόμενο Debtocracy ή χρεοκρατία παρουσιάστηκε για πρώτη φορά την Τετάρτη 6 Απριλίου 2011. Σε λιγότερο από μία εβδομάδα επισκέφθηκαν τις σχετικές ιστοσελίδες περίπου μισό εκατομμύριο άνθρωποι.
