This CVA fascicule, the fourth in the Greek series, includes 108 Attic black-figure skyphoi in the National Museum of Athens. The National Museum's skyphoi represent almost every type produced in the Athenian Kerameikos during the 6th and the 5th centuries B.C., thus offering a good picture of the development of the shape. This CVA fascicule includes seventy-eight Attic and five Atticizing amphorae dating to the period from Sub-Mycenaean to Late Geometric. They represent the great majority of the Attic and Atticizing amphorae of that period kept in the National Archeological Museum in Athens.
