Στον κατάλογο αυτό περιλαμβάνονται όλα τα γλυπτά που εκτίθενται στο Εθνικό Αρχαιολογικό Μουσείο στην Αθήνα. Τα λήμματα του καταλόγου, συμπληρωμένα με τη βασική για κάθε λήμμα βιβλιογραφία, γραμμένα με τρόπο σαφή και εύληπτο, δεν απευθύνονται μόνο στους ειδικούς αλλά και στο ευρύτερο αναγνωστικό κοινό. The Archaeological Museum of Rhodes is housed in the medieval Great Hospital built by the Knights of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem in the 15th century. The origins of the Order lay in Crusader Palestine, where the Knights protected pilgrims and looked after those who fell ill in their hospitals.
