A country's national flag is naturally connected with plenty of symbolism and emotion, and any relevant argument and research naturally tends to be biased. The aim of this work is dual: to provide a well documented research on the evolution of the main Greek national symbol utilizing as many primary sources as possible, while identifying possibly or outright inaccurate elements that have been extensively reproduced.

The book deals with the teaching of the English language to young learners. In Part A Metaxeni Symeonidou is concerned about interest, motivation, storytelling, contextualised instruction, lesson planning. In Part B Nikos Papadopoulos discusses particular lessons contained in the 6th Grade current textbook of the English subject in the Greek Primary Schools. Σκοπός του είναι να εισάγει τον αναγνώστη στην απαραίτητη ορολογία του πεδίου αυτού, μέσα από έξι κεφάλαια αποτελούμενα από αντίστοιχα κείμενα και συνοδευόμενα από ασκήσεις εμπέδωσης.
