Πρόκειται για πρακτικά διεθνούς συμποσίου στη μνήμη του William D.E. Coulson, που πραγματοποιήθηκε στο Πανεπιστήμιο Θεσσαλίας, στο Βόλο (14-17 Ιουνίου 2007). "In 1990 W.D.E. Coulson posed a series of questions related to some of the major research problems regarding the Greek "Dark Ages" which he deemed, in a wider sense, as the period spanning roughly 1125-700 B.C. Except for pursuing well planned excavations he emphasized the urgent need for the re-examination of old excavation data and the need for new publications".
