Φωτογραφίζω παιδιά γιατί πιστεύω ότι είναι πάντα πιο αληθινά. Κανένα πρόσωπο δεν έχει τόση αλήθεια όσο το πρόσωπο των παιδιών. Δεν έχουν μάθει να κρύβονται. Έρχονται κοντά σου, προσπαθούν να σε εξιχνιάσουν, μερικές φορές παραπάνω απ’ ό,τι θα ήθελες. Στόχος του βιβλίου είναι να παρουσιάσουμε παιδιά από όλο τον κόσμο. Παιδιά διαφόρων εθνικοτήτων, φυλών, ανεξάρτητα από χρώμα και θρησκεία. Ταξίδεψα σε πολλές χώρες. Το βιβλίο που κυκλοφορεί από τις εκδόσεις Καπόν, με αφορμή την εκατοστή επέτειο από την απελευθέρωση της Θεσσαλονίκης, αποτυπώνει, με υλικό απρόσμενο και με μια φρέσκια οπτική το σύμπαν της πόλης, μεταδίδοντας την αίσθηση των βυζαντινών αποχρώσεών της και αναδεικνύοντας παράλληλα όψεις της σύγχρονης δυτικής μεγαλούπολης.
