Το Ιδρυμα "Κωνσταντίνος Κ. Μητσοτάκης" διανύοντας τον έβδομο χρόνο της λειτουργίας του ανέλαβε μία ακόμα πρωτοβουλία διοργάνωσης επιστημονικής εκδήλωσης, του διεθνούς επιστημονικού συνεδρίου με τίτλο "Από τον Ανένδοτο στη Δικτατορία", το οποίο διεξήχθη από τις 6 έως τις 8 Μαίου 2008 στην Αθήνα. Η Επιστημονική Επιτροπή του Συμποσίου αποτελούνταν από τους Κωνσταντίνο Σβολόπουλο, Γεώργιο Μαυρογορδάτο και Γρηγόριο Ψαλλίδα.
