Nitsa Gazeles is a young Athenian girl from a good family – a sensitive creature with all the ardour of youth, the curiosity of innocent girlhood and the joy of life. Nitsa goes contrary to the society of her day and we know that society, even if it is defeated and altered by people demanding change, takes its revenge on them.
