Στόχος αυτού του μικρού βιβλίου είναι να προσφέρει στον αναγνώστη μικρά, αλλά μεστά νοήματος δείγματα της αρχαιοελληνικής φιλοσοφίας, η οποία αποτέλεσε το θεμέλιο του δυτικού πολιτισμού, διαχρονικά και επίκαιρα όσο ποτέ άλλοτε.
