Εκατό ποιήματα σχετικά με τη μουσική, συνδυασμένα με στίχους από την Τρικυμία του Σαίξπηρ.

Κύλησαν οι στιγμές, οι ώρες, οι μέρες, οι βδομάδες, οι μήνες, τα χρόνια. Κύλησαν οι δεκαετίες. Η ποίηση, παρούσα πάντα. Έγραψα/συνέθεσα/τραγούδησα ποιήματα στην Αθήνα. Σε κατοικίες (Δεληγιώργη, Καλομοίρη, Νάξου, Μαρωνείας, Τσαμαδού, Κοσμά Μελωδού, Καλλισπέρη, Στουρνάρη, Αγίου Μελετίου, Ουίλλιαμ Κινγκ, Κονδυλάκη). Σε μπαρ (Ράτκα, Ίντριγκα, Au revoir, Galaxy, Ένοικος). Σε ταβέρνες και μεζεδοπωλεία (Πειναλέων, Άμα λάχει, Κρητικός, Καφενές, Καπετάν Μιχάλης). Και στο Βερολίνο, το Λονδίνο, το Παρίσι. Αγάπησα και με αγάπησαν. Διάβασα πολύ. Δεν είπα όχι στην απερισκεψία. Πολλά πρωι...

Sometimes your life shows you its darkest face, stupid acts of brainless people blew the most beautiful I had built inside me for them. Frustration-Blank. By one day, the creator showed me his most glamorous creation. Suddenly, my life filled with light, I felt a hand pull me from the darkness and show me again the blue sky, the color of her eyes. I fell in love with her, I felt my heart again striking, waking and escaping from her annoying bonds with silence. Ο Κίπλινγκ ζώντας και δρώντας τον περασμένο αιώνα έγραψε ένα ποίημα που η αξία και τα νοήματά του, πολύ απλά στη σύλληψη και στην εκφορά λόγου, παραμένει μέχρι και σήμερα διαχρονικό, επίκαιρο και κλασικό. Δίχως επιτηδεύσεις και ίχνη διδακτισμού κατάφερε να μιλήσει στις καρδιές μικρών και μεγάλων καταλήγοντας να γίνει ένα απ' τα πιο διαβασμένα ποιήματα παγκοσμίως. Στον τόμο τούτο, με τον καθοδηγητικό και πλήρη παρασημάνσεων τίτλο "In Modo misto genuino" (Εις Είδος Μιχτό αλλά Νόμιμο), συγκεντρώνεται ένα μεγάλο μέρος από την ποίηση που ο Νίκος Παπαδόπουλος λεπτούργησε μακριά από τη δημοσιότητα και την αγορά επί σαράντα χρόνια. Πρόκειται για τα έμμετρα κείμενά του, σε αυστηρές ως επιτοπλείστον φόρμες, που μέχρι σήμερα μια μικρή μόνο ομάδα λογίων είχε τη χαρά και την τιμή να γνωρίζει από χειρόγραφα ή απαγγελίες του ίδιου.
