Gulliver's Travel
Gulliver’s Travels recounts the adventures of Lemuel Gulliver. Gulliver is a trained surgeon from England who decides to go to sea after his surgical business fails. He enjoys traveling. Gulliver goes on four separate voyages in Gulliver's Travels. Each journey is preceded by a storm. All four voyages bring new perspectives to Gulliver's life and new opportunities for satirizing the ways of England. The first voyage is to Lilliput, where Gulliver is huge and the Lilliputians are less than six inches tall. They attempt to stab Gulliver with arrows, but the size of the Lilliputians and their arrows have little effect on the “giant”.
