[...] The issue of work, technology and employment has become particularly important to the EU due to the latest enlargement, but also to future enlargements that will involve countries that lag behind in terms of technology and labour skills. [...] The main objective of this book is to overview key subjects as well as to develop a forum of exchanging arguments and reflections concerning the effects of the European Union enlargement and the growth of new technologies on the employment sector.
