The artistic syntheses of nature -striking or bizarre, friendly or menacing, playful or hostile depending on the ways in which they are revealed to us- and human intervention along with the consequences it entails, partly compose the cast of features in this publication. Beyond this, we suspect that endless hours of flight have been spent on a helicopter, transferring the agonizing quest of the photographer and on a deeper level, the passion of discovering a myth or a truth (who knows?), that single moment that comes to eradicate and abolish the world's actual dimension, transforming it into a redemptive, liberating image. This powerful image creates in its turn a new myth about reality, because after all, Greece has proven that it had always been, since antiquity, a land where myths were born, let alone today with technology providing to us an "ex altis" view, the distance that makes imagination run wild.
