Peekaboo Book 1 is designed to the used both by parents and teachers who wish to encourage children to develop early writing skills. It is aimed at pre-school children on first year pupils, from 5 to 7 years old. Before children learn to write the alphabet, they need practice drawing simple lines, patterns and shapes, which will eventually lead to the formation of letters, even though at this stage the letters are not identified as such by name. They are also not presented in alphabetical order, but rather in order of ease of execution, meaning letters consisting of only straight lines will appear before those made up of curves. Each letter is illustrrated by an animal or object, which make a reappearance in Book 2, at which point they will be identified by name. [...]
